The Multidisciplinary Oncology Commission is a team of experts who meet regularly to review various medical cases and determine the optimal treatment plan for each patient, with new perspectives from the specialties involved, contributing decisively to this process. The committee includes pathologists, surgeons, oncologists, radiologists, and, depending on the case, new experts such as plastic surgeons, gynecologists or urologists may also join.
In personalised cancer treatment, dedicated experts target specific molecules that allow cancer cells to grow and spread throughout the body. The field of molecular medicine is constantly evolving, and every year researchers discover new markers for which they create and test innovative drugs. Targeted treatment recommendations are based on biopsies that track changes in the tumor, requiring constant adaptation of treatment.

The Da Vinci allows us to operate with increased visibility, which ensures greater precision. Incisions are small and recovery time short.” – Univ. Dr. Alexander Rokitansky, Director of Surgery at WPK Hospital.
The Da Vinci Intuitive Surgical System will be used for a wide range of minimally invasive surgeries such as oncological, urological, gynecological and visceral surgery.
Immuno-oncology therapies activate the cancer patient’s immune system, enabling it to recognise and destroy tumour cells. New immuno-oncology compounds are constantly being registered for many types of cancer, leading to the development of revolutionary treatments. Evidence from clinical trials shows that the results of immuno-oncology therapies are effective for long periods of time. This innovative feature of immunotherapy offers the hope of a long and good quality life for many patients whose prognosis would have been poor in the past.
