WPK Amethyst

Amethyst – State of the art radiotherapy and radiation oncology.

Amethyst Radiotherapy is the fastest growing cancer treatment center in Europe, specialising in radiation oncology. Amethyst is known for precise and innovative therapies using state-of-the-art technologies from leading cancer experts.

Targeted cancer treatment

Thanks to state-of-the-art equipment, the chances of recovery have improved significantly for many tumour diseases. Another major advantage is that the neighbouring organ is spared and side effects can usually be reduced to a minimum.

We work with innovative precision medical technology from Elekta and use a linear accelerator of the latest generation with integrated CT imaging. This enables us to use all current radiotherapy procedures with precision.

  • Intensity-modulated radiotherapy (IMRT)
  • Breath-controlled irradiation (gating)
  • Stereotactic precision radiation Motion radiation (VMAT) Image-guided radiation (IGRT)
  • PET-CT in cooperation with the Radiology Center

“With the Amethyst Therapy Center, we are creating an environment in which medical precision, state-of-the-art radiation technology and human care come together. For our patients, this means individual, effective and at the same time gentle cancer therapy at the highest level.”

First-class radiotherapy in Vienna

Radiotherapy is carried out individually for each patient according to a customised treatment plan drawn up by medical specialists and medical physicists. Special emphasis is placed on maximising the protection of healthy tissue and organs.

The radiotherapy is carried out in daily sessions of 10 to 15 minutes, usually over several weeks.

During your treatment, you will receive continuous care and medical attention from our doctors. If required, we can also provide supportive nutritional and physiotherapy.

We are also there for you after the radiotherapy has been completed and offer regular check-ups.
